Good consumes evil, evil consumes good. But is the lion good and the snake evil? Or is the snake good and the lion evil?
One man's good is another man's evil.
And all in all it really comes down to the eye of the beholder, to judge what Good & Evil is.
And in the end does it really matter? Good vs. Evil is a neverending circle, because one cannot exist without the other.

Made entirely in Photoshop 7 with my old Wacom Volito *hugs it*. It's based off of the shape of my own eye. Took me 'bout two days.
And, I added a little optical illusion: Stare into the depths of the pupil... you should be able to see it expanding. Move your eye slightly to the side and back into the pupil, and it'll expand again It was my intention to make it look like it kindof 'sucks you in'.
The typical thought would probably be, that the snake is evil and the lion is good, because the snake always gets the evil role and the lion the good, in many stories. But if you take such things as the Chinese Zodiacs, the snake is not an evil being and in real life, snakes are natural pest killers and are far from icky and evil, whereas the lion may be the Lion King, but there are some lions who (despite their natural behaviour) kills animals in cold blood and eats them alive. But who are we to judge whether or not that is evil anyhow?
My entry for the Bring Your Vision To Life contest
It's beautiful!! I especially love the detail on the snake's scales (wow, I almost spelled that as "skales." -_-).
In my opinion, I believe the lion is the good and the snake is the evil. Even though I personally don't believe in Christian beliefs, the snake is evil because he tempted Eve into eating the forbidden fruit.
The lion is good because he is brave and fierce, but which is devoted to the hunt and protecting his family (and if you think about The Chronicles of Narnia, Aslan was a good lion).
The picture is a little too liquidy, but that may be your style and I respect that (I also see that you're using Photoshop 7.0, but don't be offended because I have the same kind).
Overall, excellent! This entry is worth an easy win in my book!!
